VFW Impacting Communities

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is not only dedicated to its members, but its impact to local communities across the United States. Our Posts, Members and Auxiliaries work together to support local activities within schools, community and city leaders, media outreach and fellow veterans.

Not only does the VFW have multiple youth programs, but we also recognize community leaders for their impact. We recognize those that go above and beyond through Award recognition to First Responders, Teachers,  and everyday volunteers.

Since our inception (over 100 years ago), the VFW has been known for its patriotism and love of country. For the VFW, celebrating patriotic holidays is not just a function, but an American tradition. We take great pride in bring our comrades and community together to help celebrate holidays like Memorial Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day, Flag Day and other historical days of remembrance.

See our galleries below from VFW Posts across the state and how they are making an everday impact to local communities.
