Chaplain Foy Day joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States in 1992 after earning his eligibility while serving in DESERT STORM, DESERT SHIELD, OPERATION PROVIDE PROMISE, OPERATION PROVIDE HOPE, and IRAQ and being deployed numerous times from 1991 through 2004 with a host of Personal Awards and Campaign Medals (1983-2018).

 

Chaplain Day is an individual who is dedicated and takes the work of the community seriously, spending 40 – 80 weekly helping others.  His tireless revelations and source of energy are a non-stopped testament of his commitment and leadership to further the aims and ideals of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Foy’s theme since day one has always been “ONE TEAM.”  Working together building a special bond amongst the VFW and the Auxiliary as a whole.
