  District 8 traing and call meeting will take place on Aug 5 2003.

  The meeting will be at the Lawrence and Helen Berend Center (Knights of Columbus building) located on the east side of route 281 in Windthorst just south of Berend Brothers with a small VFW sign at the road.

  The event timeline:

  7:30 a.m. – Donuts, Coffee, Juice Available

  and Sodas and Water throughout the day

  7:30 to 10:45 a.m. – Registration – free

  10:00 a.m. – Past Commanders’ Meeting

  10:30 – Commander/Quartermaster Meeting

  11:00 Joint Meeting

  Lunch and District raffel

  Immediately after lunch District Meeting and Training

  February 3 – Brownwood, Hosted by Post 3278

  April 6 – Abilene, Hosted by Post 6873
